lIFE'S TOO SHORT TO NOT EAT CHOCOLATE

7/10/2017

If you know me well, you know I eat chocolate on a regular basis. I try to balance it out and not have chocolate everyday, but sometimes that's a complete fail. I'll be honest. If you're wondering how I manage to stay comfortable in a bikini while eating chocolate (and no, I really don't have one of those super fast metabolisms, I wish! It's just a normal one lol), here are a few tips I follow that could help you:

1. Don't cry about it.
It's very important to not assume your day is a complete right off because you slipped from your meal plan. Change your mindset to, 'OK maybe I ate a bit too much chocolate, so I will just be mindful on how I eat for the remainder of the day.' Mindset is key to long term success because slip ups happen often.

2. Choose what you can control.
I personally recommend only keeping a small amount in the household if you have little to no control or choosing chocolate (such as dark for example) that won't get your taste buds going too crazy and lead you to eat the whole package. Unfortunately, if you are a chocolate connoisseur, and you like all types regardless if it is milk or dark, this can be tricky, but try your best.

3. Melt chocolate on your pancakes.
If you know the portion size of chocolate that you can have that fits into your meal plan, melt that chocolate serving size on a protein pancake. This way you will feel satisfied with your chocolate fix in addition to 'feeling full' from your meal. It's a meal and dessert combination you can't go wrong with!

4. Know your personal goals.
If your goals are to lose weight/fat, build muscle and you are aware of how much carb, protein and fats you should have for your specific goal, that will help you make mindful choices. If you are in a strict phase of your diet and you know you don't have much room for error, only have a small piece of chocolate. Most 'normal' lifestyle plans can incorporate this. If you're not sure on what you actually want to achieve/how much room for error you have, contact me for online programs.

I hope this gives you some chocolate lifestyle satisfaction. Need more help, comment below or contact me.
