![]() As much of a 'goal setter' I am now, I used to not be. I used to be embarrassed to 'make goals' and thought it was 'tacki' or silly, but that was because I didn't know any better and I grew out of that phase of my life, thankfully hehe. Or maybe I just grew up, right? I find a lot of people are shy/embarrassed to announce or set goals at first, until they realize, yes it is normal to set goals, we all have a few that we strive for on a regular basis whether we want to realize it or not. One thing I also realized about announcing or properly setting goals is that you'll feel more comfortable with the idea of 'goals' when more people around you are setting and working towards goals. Your goals will feel supported, encouraged and welcomed, which leads me to another important part about setting goals, surround yourself with people who support you. You'll be motivated for the long run with a strong support network. Here's what I'm working on for 2018:
What are you New Year goals? I hope this can be a great example that your goals don't always have to be about health and fitness and that personal goals that make you happy in spirit are just as important! Feel free to share your goals below in the comments, I'd love to know and cheer you on throughout the year!
