Whenever we take time off from training and rest, many of us feel guilty, including myself. It's been programmed in our lives to be on the go, to always be doing something productive, and make the most out of each day. I think we all forget that sometimes making the most of the day, is to actually doing NOTHING.
By doing nothing (in terms of training), and just relaxing and eating good food, we recover and refuel our body efficiently. When we recover properly, we end up being able to train harder, better, and faster, for the next time! Therefore, be happy on your NOTHING days, they're actually more productive than you think.
...so relax, and rest up! ;)
The beach is one of the best sporting facilities known to man and woman, and I’d like to think it’s been used as one for millions and millions of years. Humans have always loved being near the water, and nothing could be better than dipping into the sea after you’ve broken a sweat. Therefore the close you are to the beach after sweating, the more refreshing your experience will be.
Here are a few reasons why beach works outs are great for your body and mind, and why you SHOULD do them:
These are only a few of my favourite ones – feel free to comment below and mention any of your favourite benefits or reasons as why more people should break a sweat on the beach.
