Before you put any form of 'food' into your mouth, always ask yourself, what benefit will this give to me? Will it make me energized or will it make me tired? Will it make me feel slim or will it make me feel bloated? Asking yourself questions concerning what you're eating can make you more aware and in tune with what your body needs. Remember, 'your body is your temple,' nourish it and love it.
Have you ever tried to record your meals for a day or two? Try it! You'll be less likely to eat naughty and more likely to put good food in front of you.
Just because one food may be labelled as a super food, that doesn't mean you should eat it in excess. The beauty of superfoods is being greatly nourished by eating them when available, in season, and NOT forcing them down your throat everyday because a magazine, or new study found X to be optimal. Almost all foods are super foods (something a lot of us forget), and it is unrealistic for us to think we can consume every different type of food into our diet each day, we simply would get sick, bloated, over eat, etc.
Therefore, remember to eat in season, remember all foods are basically super foods, are our bodies will be well nourished according to our biological make up when we eat in season.
