If you google the benefits of tea, read about it in a magazine, or hear about it from a health professional, there is always someone around to rave about the medicinal health or alternative health benefits.
Putting aside all the amazing properties tea can have, it truly isn't the primary reason why I, personally drink tea. Maybe it's how I originally got hooked, but it isn't the reason as to why I enjoy it so much today. I drink it most probably because of the fulfilling benefits, rather than health, as it is only when I feel fulfilled, can I feel healthy.
Tea is a buddy, a social warm friend, that brightens your mornings, or hugs your insides. Every sip is enjoyable, delivers feel good sensations, and has me constantly boiling the kettle. It is a beverage to share, one that can be iced in the summer and kept hot in the winter. It's an outlet for gossip, gathering, or reflection. It's a companion on a calm morning walk, on public transport, in the car, at the office, and even on the gym floor. Drinking tea teaches you take your time, be rushed less, and enjoy the little things. Tea makes you feel good when no one else can, tea is there, through the bad times and the good.
